The "Telecab"
Savaria's Telecab maximizes living space and keeps construction to a minimum by eliminating the need for a hoistway. This unit simply goes up through a trap door in the floor. When the unit goes back to the lower level, the trap door is closed. Safety sensors on the top and bottom of the car will stop the travel when the Telecab encounters an obstacle.
